- Guest lecture from industry for ultralow-power electronics
Osaamistavoitteet
- Students will understand the fundamental and advanced concepts and designs of self-sufficient, autonomous electronic systems for various sensing applications.
- Students will learn the materials, devices and working mechanisms of different energy harvesters and corresponding self-powered systems.
- Students will learn advanced energy storage options used for self-sufficient, autonomous sensing systems.
- By learning this course, students may start to develop towards qualified designers and coordinators of R&D projects for energy harvesting systems in both academia and industry.
Also:
- Students will be able to apply creative thinking and problem solving in their work to develop new knowledge and new procedures.
- Students will be able to recognize the dependencies between dimensions of sustainability (social, ecological, economic, cultural) in their own field of study and able to assess the impacts of their own field's activities on them.
- Students will be able to seek and combine expertise from different fields to find innovative solutions to global challenges as part of a working group.
