TEKS4407 Software Product Project (5 op)

In the project, students follow the steps related to the development of a software product, from idea generation through teamwork to R&D and commercialization. To support the implementation of the project, the content of the prerequisite courses are applied.

Student teams are guided during the project by business coaches and finally present the results to venture capital professionals. 

After completing the course, the student is able to:

• Develop new commercial software products and design related business model
• Apply and integrate the principles technology strategy, creativity, group working and communication, financial analysis, software engineering, project and product management as well as marketing and sales
• Create documentation and supplementary services needed to support software product launch to the market
• Present own idea, product and business plan to financiers
