JSBJ4110 Academic writing and publishing (6 op)
Kuvaus
This course consists of lectures provided by JSBE faculty who actively publish in international, peer reviewed journals. We will go through examples of published journal articles to develop an understanding of the type of content that is typically presented in different sections of the article. This includes examples of theory building and theory testing papers to showcase how these articles are typically constructed differently. The course lecturers will share examples of their own journal publication processes to expose students to the nature of review processes and the expectations of journals ranked at different quality levels. During this course, students develop a full manuscript draft with a specified target journal and receive feedback on its key sections.
