Course description

Writing is a skill which can be developed with determination and hard work. This practical, hands-on course focuses on issues such as audience, purpose, organization, academic expression, style, and flow of academic texts. You will practice defining terms and concepts, commenting on data, referring to other writers’ work, and using language strategically to achieve your academic goals. Differences in cultural conventions and the use of online tools to facilitate the above will be introduced.
