• a range of approaches to language education, underlying principles, establishing goals and evaluating language development.

• pedagogical reflections.

• pedagogical through engagement with educational curricula, subject didactics and teacher responsibility

• interactional and diversity-related recognizing the needs and experiences of different individuals

• scientific thinking through the exploration of theory and practice in language education

• ethical considering the relationship between language learning experiences and development.

Upon completing of the course the student will be able to

• differentiate between different theories and methodologies for foreign language education

• pedagogically assess and modify units of work, materials and means of assessment

• recognize and express a considered pedagogical perspective on foreign language education.
