YKPS3102 Migration Policy (5 op)

The course on Migration Policy is designed and intended as an introduction to migration policy and related migration topics. It will focus on theory and practice of migration policy, labour market integration, and labour market segmentation dynamics, including racism, discrimination, diversity and interest representation in the labour market.

Students will understand the theories, policies and social issues around labour migration. They will gain in depth knowledge of migration theories and how state policies have developed to shape migration, as well as the role of migration in labour markets and the social justice issues which arise.
