Leadership ethics course will discuss the following UN Sustainable Development Goals: SDG#3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG#5 (Gender equality), SDG #8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG #10 (Reduced Inequalities), SDG#12 (Responsible consumption and production), SDG#16 (Peace, justice and strong institutions).
Osaamistavoitteet
On successful completion of this course, student is able to:
attain an in-depth knowledge for leadership theories with emphasis on ethics and leadership as relational;
apply ethical theories to critically evaluate leaders’ behavior patterns in different situations and contexts, and distinguish their causes and outcomes for individuals, organizations and societies;
be able to analyse threats and risks and competing frames for ethical decision-making and propose well-argued logics for promoting ethical leadership;
be able to promote socially inclusive workplaces through leadership.
Development of meta-skills:
critical and analytical leadership thinking, self-reflection and agency.

Intermediate Studies in Management and Leadership (35 ECTS) or equivalent.
