Kuvaus

The aim of the course is to bridge the gap between business opportunity development and commercialization process from the management point of view. In addition, the course covers the key concepts associated with commercialization process including portfolio management and ecosystem strategies in the ICT and other selected technology industries.

Osaamistavoitteet

The aim of the course is to give an overview of the key concepts and the management approaches on commercialization process and business opportunity development in the industrial context. 

Students will understand: 

  • What is the link between commercialization process and business strategy. 
  • How commercialization process can be planned and managed. 
  • What are the main challenges and how to mitigate them in the industrial context. 
  • What is to the role of ecosystems, standardization, and collaboration.

Students will be able to:

  • Understand the areas to be managed during the commercialization process of innovation in the industrial context. 
  • Define the potential scenarios for the commercialization process of innovation. 
  • Understand the potential challenges and can create the mitigation plans. 
  • Define the potential ecosystems ecosystem partners for commercialization process of innovation.
