- Covering sport in different media.
- Sport media as a research subject.
Osaamistavoitteet
On successful completion of this course, student is able to:
understand the key aspects and issues related to sport media and the logic of covering sport
identify and explain special issues and challenges within sport media
understand the history and the development of sport journalism
identify the characteristics of sport journalism
recognize and compare various perspectives through which to examine and research sport media
be effective as well as inclusive as part of a task-oriented team
communicate effectively and appropriately in writing and verbally.

Lectures and the group presentations will be held in English, but it is possible to answer either in English or in Finnish in the book exam.
