Content
The course covers theoretical approaches of self-regulation, empirical evidence on the factors associated with emotion-related phenomena, and self-regulation strategies aimed to enhance athletes’ performance and wellbeing.

On successful completion of this course, students should be able to:
- distinguish emotion related terminology and critically apply main theoretical frameworks.
- identify relevant social and individual factors related to athletes’ experiences.
- understand the principles underlying effective application of self-regulation strategies.
