GOAL 1 JSBE doctoral graduates have in-depth understanding of their field of research and its societal significance.
GOAL 2 JSBE doctoral graduates can independently design and conduct original research.
GOAL 3 JSBE doctoral graduates have effective and competent written and oral communication skills in their area of expertise and field of research.
GOAL 4 JSBE doctoral graduates follow ethical guidelines of conducting research.

A prerequisite for an approved completion is a doctoral dissertation approved by the Faculty Council. Evaluation criteria are described in the dissertation assessment criteria of JSBE.
