KPTGSEKOK Global and Sustainable Education Module (15+ op)

The Global and Sustainable Education specialization engages in theoretical and applied knowledge on the effects of globalization and global emergencies on various sectors of education in sustainability, development and international contexts. It further develops understanding of the structural inequalities disturbing education and development. The roles and responsibilities of education in tackling inequalities and global crises are given particular attention, including the theories and social methods affecting institutional change. The specialization aims to prepare students to theorize social change towards planetary well-being, and to develop critical understanding of SDG goals and their relation to national and international policies.
