XENX045 Working Towards a Structured Text (3 op)

The course focuses on writing as a process. The course introduces topics such as pre-writing strategies, planning the process, and structuring a text. Through individual and group work students will write an academic piece of text in a process-like manner using different strategies.

At the end of the course, students are expected to be able to:

• have developed skills to set goals and work towards them as part of the writing process
• understand the value of working in teams
• write a structured piece of text (academic)
• discuss, summarize, and formulate multilingual research information in their own words in written form
