Kuvaus

Sampling means the plan how to select subset of individuals from population to get information in efficient way. Using certain sampling requires appropriate estimation method to be able generalize the results to the population. In this course the aim is to get some general insight to sampling and related statistical terms (e.g. standard error, Mean square error, statistical power, Intra class correlation, etc.).

Osaamistavoitteet

Targeted learning outcomes:
By the end of this course, students should be able to plan efficient sampling.
