Description

The Study Module in International Studies can be compiled of the following studies:

- at least 15 ECTS credits of thematically compatible studies completed at the host university

- a maximum of 10 ECTS credits of supplementary studies completed either at the host or home university (must be agreed upon separately), e.g. studies related to international communication or multiculturalism or language courses (excluding compulsory language studies which are a part of the degree and the credits given from studying in a foreign language during exchange). 

Learning outcomes

The aim of the Study Module in International Studies is for the student to

- recognize his/her culture and background in relation to encountering, understanding and appreciating other cultures,

- acknowledge and recognize intercultural differences and their influence in the own field,

- be able to appreciate the diversity of languages and cultures,

- be capable of examining phenomena from different perspectives internationally and to

- be capable of working as an expert in his/her own field in a foreign language
