Learning outcomes

 After the course, student:

  •  understand the physiological role of lipids for organisms,
  •  can describe how phylogeny of microbes can be identified by using biochemical biomarkers,
  • knows basics of quantitative analytical chemistry,
  •  can solve numerical analytical problems,
  •  know basics of proteomics and understand how it can be utilized,
  •  understand operating principles of analytical instruments
