KVVS9000 Intercultural Communication: Theories and Methods (6 op)

This course presents the major paradigms, theories and methods applied in intercultural communication research. We will explore exemplary research articles to understand how paradigms shape theory and methods, the implications of using particular theories, how to formulate research questions and what determines the choice of a particular method. We will also discuss how to structure a literature review, build a rationale for research questions/hypotheses, and design a study. The students are expected to begin to work on their Master’s thesis research.
