The course focuses on deepening the knowledge and ability to apply different research methods also in reflecting on one's own future work as a teacher.

After completing the course the students will be able to

· discuss most frequently used research methods in applied linguistics both from the point of view of data gathering and analysis

· discuss and assess implications of language learning research on foreign language teaching.
