Description

Key concepts, document management principles and processes, information and document management tasks, document information life-cycle management design, development, stability and usability.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student will:

  • be familiar with the principles, processes, management tools and key concepts of document management and know how to use them
  • be able to explain the principles objectives of information and document management in different organisations, and their objectives, tasks, organisational responsibilities and norm environments
  • be familiar with the document management continuum model that integrates archiving into overall life-cycle management
  • be able to define the significance of systematic handling and preservation in document management and data sets, as well as the usefulness of the organisation’s activities in terms of rationality and documentary cultural heritage
