Description

The study module helps students understand how crises develop and how organizations attempt to predict, manage and mitigate the effects of crises, such as on corporate reputation. Students will learn the main elements of an effective crisis communication plan and will examine main communication strategies that may be applied in various crisis situations.

Learning outcomes

After completing this study module, the student:

  • has improved his/her understanding of how issues turn into crises

  • is able to identify and address communication problems proactively

  • has trained in the management of stakeholder relations in critical situations

  • is able to communicate effectively across different contexts and situations.

  • has improved his/her self-management skills
