Sisältö
The DEICO programme allows for students to pursue an internship with a firm or organization active in the area of international development. Alternatively, students can take advantage of Jyväskylä University’s diverse academic exchange networks in Europe and elsewhere. Many students seek to combine an internship/exchange period with data collection for their MA thesis.
Suoritustavat
The practicalities of an exchange/internship period are to be agreed upon with the programme coordinator.
Osaamistavoitteet
Students will understand the organization and workings of development organizations (international, inter-governmental, national or local), and will acquired the basic practical and analytical skills required to perform successfully in such working contexts.
